Welcome to Ay Up Lighting Systems We have designed and manufactured a lighting system like no other. Designed by mountain bikers for mountain biking. Our products can withstand all that nature can throw at them. Since going to market in March 2007 we have sold thousands of kits all over the world. We aimed for the recreational rider market and priced it as such but we are the preferred lighting supplier for many elite racers around the world too. What this means is the lights are bright enough for high speed fire trail riding, setting some of the fastest night laps at many events, and the setup allows for safe, fast riding through twisty single track. Also given that we have lit the way and helped two 24hr Endurance racers to become world champions in 2008 confirms that our products perform at the highest level in Mountain Biking. We don’t stop there, road cyclists enjoy safe commuting through our busy cities and roads around the world with their Ay Up's lighting the way.
Cycling is a very common sport which most of us enjoy, there are also many other activities that require light. Ay Up lights have many uses, the recent introduction of the headband now allows you to remove the lights from your bike and fit to your head or helmet. Caving, climbing, skiing, snowboarding, orienteering, running, kayaking, sailing, fishing, shooting ..... the list goes on and on. We have three very comprehensive kits that come standard with enough mounts to kit out two bikes. The Multisport Kit is a single light setup and you have the option to custom this kit so it can be used as a helmet mounted light, a handlebar light or a head torch light. Additionally the multisport kit can be bought to serve all three. Read more here The MTB Kit is a double light kit, a helmet and handlebar light setup. Read more here Our lights have the brightest and most efficient LEDs on the market today. CREE XLamp High Powered LEDs are the industries brightest and most reliable on the market.
Custom built Lithium Polymer Batteries come in two sizes, 3hr & 6hr with on / off switching. Short circuit, over voltage protection, low voltage cut out and other smarts are built into the battery packs, each packed inside a watertight tough plastic casing for protection. Mount anywhere neoprene battery pouches further protect and carry your light power. Gone are the days that you have to conserve battery power. No more resting in the dark with our lights. Our 3hr batteries have a minimum burn time of 3 hours and weigh in at 70 grams. Our 6hr batteries have a minimum burn time of 6 hours and weigh in at 130 grams. When we say minimum burn we mean that the batteries will run the lights at full power for 3 & 6hrs then slowly dim until the battery switches off at 5V. A 3hr battery has been known to run for a further 6 hours after the 3hr burn time, all be it slowly dimming but when the light switches off it is still bright enough to get you home. Charging your lights has been made very easy. We supply single battery charging, dual battery and six battery charging in one unit. Our custom built Lithium Polymer battery chargers run off 12V DC. No more searching for a power outlet when travelling or in remote area's. Standard in all kits, we supply 12V car adaptors and 110 - 240V power adaptors for all countries. Our batteries can be charged at any state, be it 5 mins or 5 hours from full capacity. Lithium has no memory ... See here for charging

We do have the lightest lights on the planet and the coolest looking! We supply 12 awesome colours along with three beam options, narrow, intermediate and medium. Why so many? We are all different so why not!
Fully sealed, waterproof super tough lightsets a light unit like no other. Ay Up lights are the lightest high-powered LED lightsets on the planet. Weighing in at just over 50 grams, be prepared to be blown away.... Powered by the brightest LED’s on the planet we use CREE XRE LED’s in a cool white tint. Currently running Q5 & R2 bins we will supply our lights with the highest possible flux bin we can buy in bulk. Each lightset outputs minimum 320 Lumen.
Light weight and indestructible. You break it .... we want it back. A new set will be delivered to your door as soon as physically possible. The small aluminium directional light shells are CNC machined to within 100th of a millimeter and anodised for beauty and protection.
The lights can be independently rotated so you can stagger your beam if you wish. They are fully sealed and waterproof to a depth of 5 metres. Washing under the tap or high pressure hosing is no problem with Ay Up Lights. The LED's themselves can burn for upto 50,000 hours, a life time in most riders books, so we have made these non-serviceable, meaning, no maintenance required. Plug in and go !
The sheer brilliance of the design allows the heat from the LED to dissipate so well that even when in your pocket they will only just get warm. Cool running, cool looking, super bright and bullet proof ... the perfect lamp one might say.

We are currently supplying the Q5 and R2 Lux bins. As the CREE product becomes available in higher lumen bins we will supply our lights with the highest possible binning. The optics do not need to change for the foreseeable future. See here for light colours
LIGHTSET POUCHES For every light set bought, be it in a kit or bought separately, we supply a neoprene pouch for its safe transport to you. This pouch has a belt mount at the rear for handy carrying.
