James Cracknell better known for Olympic rowing, thoroughly tested his Ay Ups on his successful Cracknell Challenge for Sport Relief cycling 1400 miles from Cap Griz in France to Tarifa in Spain, over six days, spending 108 hours in the saddle.  His comment in The Daily Telegraph "When it gets dark, I have intensely bright lights - four on the front of the bike, two on the helmet.  They clearly annoy oncoming traffic as they keep flashing.  I hope I don't blind them and they don't career into us"
